“The truth is incontrovertible, malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end; there it is.” — Winston Churchill
You may be asking what the above quote has to do with consciousness, and aligning it with your present life. Without truth in your life, what are you? Especially . . . if you find yourself in the middle of the most challenging time you have ever known. When you finally step back, and take a moment to reflect while taking the mask off of your persona, stop the lies that you keep repeating to yourself, pull off the facade of success, take a look at your life to this point . . . and then start all over. In the last analysis as Albert Camus so aptly states, “Don’t wait for the last judgement, it takes place every day.”
When is that day for you? Are you there yet? Until you become the change you want to see, beginning with yourself . . . your truth will be hidden consciously and on every other level. Every life that you have touched, sets off a chain reaction of conscious energy either positive or negative beginning with you. Yes . . . you. Beginning over is the conscious truth that you recognize, without taking yourself off the hook for anything. Is this a tall order? Of course it is, however as Albert Camus suggests, “Integrity has no need of rules.”
Fear impales all of us. Courage releases the shackles that have been placed on your being . . . primarily by you. Becoming a leader is an act of valor especially in your own life, and those that you love. There comes a time when excuses don’t work any more, neither does the blame game. Consciousness asks us to embrace our truth, step up to the plate and jump! Better to do this now because in the words of Lao Tzu, “Life and death are one thread, the same line viewed from different sides.” Which side will you choose? JLR
