Recently, I was asked the question . . . what do you want? At first blush, I was listening to react and not listening to understand thoughtfully, respectfully or responsively. A relatively short time ago, my reaction to what I believed I wanted involved career, success, gain, position, title, etc., and my intention encompassed “ego. . .” in doing whatever was necessary to attain those goals, or so I thought. Once consciousness becomes more than just a word in a Thesaurus, the journey of discovery, enlightenment, illumination and experience took on another mantle . . . surrender. The energy of life took on another form . . . present conscious awareness in the moment. My intention is now directed to “connection with the source.” The work begins from within, by clarification of everything that doesn’t work for each of us on every level. This may seem to be a great deal of extraordinary work . . . and the question . . . is it worth the effort, time and dedication? The response is different for every individual. And now to the question . . . what do I want . . . it is really not involved, complicated, multi-leveled or convoluted. It has always resided within me, all I needed to do was “connect with it.” I want what I have, and have what I want . . . now. JLR
