“The measure of mental health is the disposition to find good everywhere.” —— Ralph Waldo Emerson

Within your consciousness is the ability to see the world from your illuminated truth. In essence, your mind becomes what you see as reality in the world. Yes, your perspective and perception of the world is the mirror of your conscious alignment to it. The energy of consciousness is a palpable presence in the world . . . it always has been . . . have you noticed? What conscious energy has been projected into the world, and what is reflected back? Have you bothered to notice? An enormous part of this equation is that you become aware, and notice what consciousness is becoming aligned in the world. Better yet . . . what consciousness is aligning with you? We could always go back to something General George Patton once said, “If everyone is thinking alike, then somebody isn’t thinking.”

What defines you? Do you have the slightest idea? The answer to the question lies within you, because no one else really knows this either except you. No, this is not a false process. How have you been living your life up to this point? Have you been lying to yourself on one or many levels? Once you answer those questions . . . honestly, truthfully, with integrity and moral character, then the words of Benjamin Disraeli will become more meaningful for you, “The secret of success is constancy of purpose.”

Recognizing a concern or problem exists is the first step to resolving the situation. It takes work, effort, investment of time, courage, thought, persistence, desire, willingness and your continued patience with yourself . . . because you will get there, you will make it, it is possible. You will be completely responsible for your success or failure. Which will you choose? Time will pass no matter what you select to do, and the words of Thich Nhat Hanh are extremely poignant at this juncture . . . “The present moment is filled with joy and happiness. If you are attentive, you will see it.” JLR
