“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” — Steve Jobs
The above quote by Steve Jobs encompasses his conscious being, which propelled his innovative, creative, technological genius to an uncompromised level. The world now benefits from this extremely gifted man, and moving forward we will see how stunning his individual conscious awareness was to a much greater degree.
Mr. Jobs was fearless in his ability to understand that we carry within us the essence of our own direction, guidance, leadership, serenity, solace, peace and tranquility. At times, circumstances beyond our control have placed many individuals within our sphere of consciousness, and we always have a choice in how we interact. Certain forms of energy are not always a good fit, and to co-exist with those entities that don’t fit with ours, the only skill necessary is to consciously change within ourselves acknowledging that difference which may be limiting, harmful and stifling to growth. When we are presently conscious this process is on-going, and we learn quickly to reverse direction when we hit the proverbial “brick wall,” interacting with those individuals who would otherwise impede our existence.
Decide who you are and what you want out of life. Spinning your wheels is an exercise that may work for a time, but not indefinitely. We don’t have “infinity” to decide, and in the words of Dr. Wayne Dyer, “Conflict cannot exist without your participation.” There is no better time to begin than now, as that old adage states . . . “tomorrow is promised to no one.” Make a promise to yourself . . . one that you will keep. Take the responsibility to change what you can, develop the skills that will provide you with happiness, joy, contentment and peace. Living in and with peace, serenity and tranquility is probably the greatest gifts you can give to yourself. Begin in this moment and create through your vision the life that you want. Anais Nin states it this way . . . “We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are.” Your life depends on your responsibility to act, change and create exactly what you want and no one else.
