“Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.” — Albert Einstein
At whatever place you find yourself in this moment . . . is exactly where you must be. If you believe your life is in the wrong place, change it. It is as simple as that . . . no further explanation necessary. The choices made over time given the information you had, dictate your present circumstances. Rationalizing your specific situation or believing things will change, without investing a great deal of conscious excavation in facing your specific truth, is delusional and self sabotaging. Change begins with you and no one else. Of course this assumes that you know yourself, which for many is beyond challenging. Looking at this in another way in a quote by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev is another thought, “If you say something is not possible, what you are really saying is, I don’t want it.”
Taking this one step further the next question is . . . what do you really want? Do you know or better yet, do you even care? Consciousness is not something you can just order through a catalogue, or on-line. It is something you choose and in that choice becomes present in the moment, perhaps for the first time in your life. Kahlil Gibran stated these words which may apply, “We choose our joys and sorrows long before we experience them.”
Does anyone cherish your counsel, friendship, advice, suggestions or beliefs? If not, why? In reflecting on the quote by Albert Einstein, are you considered a profoundly enlightened spirit amongst family, friends and loved ones or just another talking head? Courage comes in many shapes, sizes, categories and places. A cognitive spirit with the ability to bring light into the minds and hearts of others, is experienced through the acceptance of your personal conscious truth. This is not a question of luck, happenstance, or serendipity. When acknowledging your personal truth and awakening to the essence of your existence to its source . . . luck has absolutely nothing to do with it. Walking out of the darkness into light, erases fear and empowers you to believe in the limitless possibilities of your being. You first have to know it, to then see it and then live it. Are you worth the trouble? JLR
