What creates our reality? The answers will vary of course, and upon further introspection . . . it is our words . . . think about it. When I hear the word abracadabra, I immediately think of the “Fairy Godmother in Cinderella” and of course there’s always magical spells, formulas etc. However, abracadabra is an Aramaic term that originally meant, “I will create what I say. . .” and was regularly used in healing. There is power in our words creating the reality we inhabit. The energy from our words create thoughts and feelings. I was also reminded of this in a quote from Neale Donald Walsch in Conversations with God, Book I, “Thoughts are creative, Fear attracts like energy, Love is all there is.” When we become aware of the impact of our words, there is a conscious shift in perception, perspective and intention. . . giving us an opportunity to become accountable for what we communicate to ourselves and others. Taking this one step further, the intent of our communication is empowered in the manner with which we make a creative conscious connection. For many of us we are intrinsically drawn to stunning works of art which may include: paintings, sculpture, design, writing, music, dance, the performance of an artist etc., and on some level we are enrapt with how this “speaks to us. . .how this inexplicably connects to our essence.” Taking responsibility for the words we express, and how they impact our lives, others and our environment, is an opportunity for growth through conscious awareness. Given the tools to make conscious choices, this opportunity awaits in every moment. JLR
