“. . . to think is an act of choice . . . man is a being of volitional consciousness. Reason does not work automatically; thinking is not a mechanical process; the connections of logic are not made by instinct. You are not free to escape from your nature . . . reason is your means of survival . . . the question ‘to be or not to be’ is the question to think or not to think.” — John Galt, from Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand

Have you ever experienced automatic reasoning by mechanical means? In this present moment as you view your immediate circumstances, environment and personal evolution . . . are your choices foisted upon you by outside circumstances or are you resonating volitional consciousness? For each of us the response may be different. However, at the same time with that difference comes the responsibility of knowing exactly what choices you are making and why. Falling back on victim identity, excuses, false information, mistakes and a continuum of poor judgement perpetuates the problem which then begs the question . . . are you now standing in your own way? Only you can recognize and respond to that which resides within your mindful consciousness.

Awaking to the purpose of your existence through acute conscious awareness, is a practical approach to the balance of your life. One who is an intelligent rhetoritician leaves a consistent void by reflecting the words of T. S. Elliott, “Where is all the knowledge we lost with information.” When all the flash, splash, smoke and mirrors clears . . . what is distilled beyond question? The response resides within the inner chamber of who you are and always were without the facade. Eckhart Tolle puts it another way,”Life is the dancer and you are the dance.”

Open the doors of your life to the limitless evolution of possibility. You have the key, you are the light which illuminates the path and journey that will lead to enlightenment, release and fusion with purpose. There are no shortcuts, the work must be done by you with pure intention and humility. . . anything less is a lie. You are ready when everything else has fallen away, and no longer serves as substantive in your life. Enlightenment is a gift through the release of what is, and Eckhart Tolle reveals this in another way, “Being spiritual has nothing to do with what you believe and everything to do with your state of consciousness.” Be the light through which you see for the first time . . . first in your life . . . with endless possibilities.
