“He who saves a single life, saves the entire world.” —- Oskar Schindler

You may believe the above quote is rather misplaced given the tapestry of present conscious awareness. However, when you become present in your own life and awaken to the reality of how your words, speech, conversation, behavior, conduct and actions effect others . . . a shift in your personal perception is manifested. That single life that you save is yours, when you become conscious of your own consciousness. No this is not a play on words, syntax or colloquial usage of the language . . . it is as Ralph Waldo Emerson states, “People do not seem to realize that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.” You need look no further than within your own immediate family, friends and loved ones. How have you impacted their lives with your manner, actions, behavior, values, principles, honesty, integrity, loyalty and truth?

What will be your legacy given who or what you reflect to those around you? Make no mistake, there is a ripple effect on what you do to yourself and those who touch your life in any way relative to your consciousness, and yes . . . you are responsible for your actions in all circumstances. Mistakes will be made while swimming through the maze and matrix of your life, the key is recognition, correction, evolvement and pursuit of your personal truth as Albert Camus states in another way, “The only real progress lies in learning to be wrong all alone.” Once you arrive at the realization of how you impact your own life and the lives of all those you touch, miracles will become the norm and not the exception. You hold the key to your own purposeful existence, and getting out of your own way is an imperative not a choice.

Wherever you find yourself in the present moment is where you are meant to be, and the question remains . . . how are you impacting your own life and those of everyone else? Consider how blessed you are to be a healer, leader, innovator, artist, creative intuitive, motivator, visionary, communicator, caregiver or educator who precipitates, restores, enhances and enriches enlightenment in a world of turbulence.

Be the light you wish in your own life, and yes . . . you can change the world beginning with yourself. This is accomplished without name recognition, media attention or subsidized support. Alexis de Tocqueville reminds us, “When the past no longer illuminates the future, the spirit walks in darkness.” You are the light of spirit in your own life embracing humilty, compassion, awareness, integrity, truth and honesty that builds the bridge which touches the entire world.
